I LOVE these shorts! I like all of pockets and especally the adjustable waistband! very comfortable. My only suggestion is, I wish the rear pockets were a bit deeper. Waist size is as advertised. Comfortable. I ordered an Olive Drab color which turned out to be way different on the 65/35 poly/cotton blend from the Olive Drab color on the 100% cotton Truspec pants. Please make it possible for people ordering on line to see if the shorts they are ordering have the slide in pocket behind the cargo pocket, I can't tell by the photos, or in the descriptions of the product; on both sides. Same goes for the knife pocket, on both sides. Notate those in the photos so we can plainly see them. Wow, so happy I found these shorts. They are just the right combination of roomy yet not too baggy, tons of storage but don't bulge out all over. They come down to your knee level but don't look ridiculously long. The main pockets are nice and deep so when you lay down your change doesn't slip out of your pocket. I really like the internal pockets inside the cargo pockets, Wasn't sure I'd like them in there but now that I have experienced them don't know why all cargo shorts don't have them. Good stitching and belt loops that make sense. The elastic band waist stretches when you do but don't ruin the lines of the shorts. The pen pockets are handy to have. Sturdy material without being bulky or crease/wrinkle. Button catch backs up the snap waist. One of the best shorts I've ever owned. Tactical without screaming look at me. Your emphasis on quality sold me, and I am not an easy sale. I have some great thrift stores near me, and I have gotten into the habit of finding new top brand outdoor gear for a few dollars. I learned that every man is a size 36 at some point in his life--usually temporarily. I usually pay about three bucks for new Columbia, Cabela's, etc, shorts and pants. I'll go a buck or two more for 5.11, etc. I found a pair of your tactical shorts, wore them for a week, and just ordered three pair from you. And, they were on sale! The 36W shorts fit true to size. Hopefully it won't expect to shrink considering that it's 65/35 poly/cotton. Hopefully, the elastic waistband will last a few years as they tend to stretch out over time, at least in other brand's pants I've owned. I'm used to 5" or 7" shorts so these are a bit long. Wished that companies would make shorter 7" shorts as there's some Abnormal obsession with long shorts! Some guys DO like SHORT inseam shorts! The 24-7 ripstop fabric seems heavier than the 5.11 version but sturdier though time will tell. It's relatively pricey so hopefully the shorts will last a few years. The small-sized side pockets barely hold an encased iPhone 5S so it's really meant to carry something smaller, like a mag clip, as the iPhone's top sticks up from the pocket flap. Wallet fits fine in the back but is a bit tight when sitting down so it's better to be placed in either the front or cargo pockets. The velcro should be replaced with buttons instead. The fabric makes a slight swishing noise when moving but hopefully it will disappear as it's washed and worn over time. The khaki color is more of a DARK Khaki than what the photo shows instead of a typical light sand-colored khaki. It does get a bit wrinkly so some ironing may be needed to remedy that.Posted: July 27, 2016

I have been wearing the shorts and pants for three years now. I am a contractor and I need a flash light, pens, pencil, knife, measuring laser, and poop bags at all times. With these pants I have them all with out needing to go back to the truck twenty times. It's rare that you see me wearing anything else. I have 2 pair of these shorts in waist size 32 with the inline expandable waistband. This feature allows them to fit perfectly either way when carrying IWB holster or not. All the pockets are useful and very well constructed. I really like that the top of the bellowed pocket folds are velco'd together, a nice detail preventing "bellow blowout". The only improvement that I would suggest is tacking down the end of the deep pockets in front so they would not ride up if a pistol, magazine or cellphone were to be drawn from your front pockets.Posted: July 13, 2016
