This review would have been five stars, however, there are a couple key details of the construction that led me to my conclusion. I have had this bag in multicam since 2016, it has traveled with me to many countries and has endured far more abuse than I thought it might handle. The color has yet to fade, the fabric is resilient, has yet to tear and the stitching on all seems hasn't separated whatsoever. The zippers haven't broken but the small tags on them broke within the first year so I tied pieces of 550 cord in to replace them. One of the side compression straps ripped out within the first year as well but the buckles do hold up nicely, just the stitching was poorly done on the straps themselves. The shoulder straps are actually really comfortable, well padded and don't dig into your shoulders too much unless you load the bag with a lot of weight. I would have loved to have hip straps on this bag to help alleviate the burden but I understand it probably wasn't designed for the abuse it has received. For light duty and short distance this bag is fantastic, especially for the price. If you decide to make it into a dedicated three day assault pack it will do the job but it will most likely feel uncomfortable and cumbersome but again, it will hold whatever you stuff into it and attach to it. I would buy this bag again but I'd likely buy a dedicated three day assault pack with a little more rigidity and support systems built into it to help lighten the load.
