This jacket is made well and is a decent value. However, I would not recommend it for a colder climate. I found that it transmits the cold right through to your body. I had to wear a sweatshirt underneath to keep warm.Posted: December 12, 2019

Purchased the jacket couple years ago . I have been very pleased with the jacket for being warm , breaking the wind and staying dry . Had a problem with the zipper and they went over and above what would be expected to fix the problem. With all my dealings I have only had 1 other company take care of a problem as well as tru-spec did . I would not hesitate to order from them because customer service is great.Posted: May 7, 2018

I purchased two of these insulated TRU-SPEC rain jackets for myself and my wife, which we wear all the time (except in summer months) and they've been awesome jackets keeping us dry and warm. They have some technical issues with the zippers, but Stephanie Wells (Customer Service for TRU-SPEC & Atlanco) has helped us with replacement jackets if the zipper issues can't be fixed. My favorite coat of all time is the H2O proof 3 in 1 Parka. Never have I had a coat that serves every purpose and still has style. As a professional athlete, I hate wearing coats when exercising outside during the winter because you are either too hot and sweating profusely or you are not warm enough and freezing. This is not the case with the 3 in 1 Parka. When I am going out for a run, I can detach the comfy and oh so warm inside layer and have a great wind and water resistant coat. What’s awesome about both coats/jackets is the plethora of pockets. The outer water-proof coat has a rather large pocket on the back side where I put a shirt, bags, and large items that I do not want to carry. I can also put my phone and wallet in the two separate inside pouches of either jacket to ensure that pickpockets cannot get to them. I love that I never got too hot or cold, despite the temperature or weather conditions because I can choose to whether to wear both of the coats together or just one. What also is nice about the outer water-proof coat is that the hood sits perfectly snug over your head so that it doesn’t blow off with the wind or when running. In addition, there are ways to pull strings to tighten any part of the coat from the inside; you do not have to take your hands out of the jacket to adjust them! The inside lighter coat is so comfortable, light and warm. I often wore it as a more fashionable coat and still was despite the 20 degree weather.
