Location: COI'm 6'10" and 215 pounds. I always have a hard time finding hiking pants long enough. However, Tru-Spec worked with me on getting extra length sewed on the bottom, allowing me to have a 34"x41". I took them out the other day as an initial test run. Hiked down and up the Tomichi Route at Black Canyon of the Gunnison. Nearly 2000' drop in elevation in just over a mile. A good chunk of the time I was surfing rocks, crabwalking, or just sliding on my butt. These pants were great for the task, as they provided good protection and didn't even think about tearing. The stretch components helped on the way up as well, considering it was mostly a bear-crawl. When I was sweating a bit, they grasped my legs some, but still was fairly maneuverable. When it comes to colder weather and rocks, I'll wear these any day over my other 4-way stretch pants.

Location: NDSaw so many reviews, that compared them to fjallraven. Let's start with that, they are in no way comparable to fjallraven. Fjallraven is in a league of its own, there fit, materials are superior in everyday. But the tru spec are good for everyday cheap pants. The k ife pockets are nice. The drop in pockets are nice. The velcro closures on the other pockets suck. They could improve them greatly by getting rid of the velcro and using snaps. Timing down the excess material in the legs and crotch, to the point where you don't have it flopping and rubbing when you walk. Also removing the snap closure on the fly and replacing it with a quality button. To sum it up are they wearable and functional yes. Is there room for improvement, much. Are they in the same league as fjallraven no. But for cheap everyday pants they are acceptable.

Location: MALove these pants. I’ve worked for a landscaping company for 6 years now and had been wearing the original tactical pants while mowing and trimming, but when I moved to the irrigation department I needed replacement pants and found these so I upgraded. In irrigation I’m bending and kneeling a lot and the stretchy panels make it very comfortable. The added cell pockets and larger knife pockets allow me to carry the few tools I need for certain jobs without the need of a full blown tool belt. They’re also super comfortable and resist water very well which also comes in handy when dealing with sprinkler systems. Best upgrade you can make if you love the Originals.

Location: CANo argument with anybody who said that Tru Spec combined the best of the original 24-7 pant and the Ascent pant (my go-to for the last 3 years). They fit great and are very comfortable all day, the only disappointment is the fact that if you assume a lunge position (like tying your boot at a desktop elevation) the pant has a tendency to bind a little, especially with a wallet and a phone in the pocket. Other than that, no complaints. Will submit again after the pants are a little more worn in.

Location: OHI love these pants I use them every single day and have for about a year or so now and they have held up and not faded even with extraordinary cruel use, though I will state I may have got a bad pair something when it came down to sizing, completely different from the 24/7 standard size. I'm 36 30 but the sizing on here is not 36-30 it is more like 40-32 at least with what I got and that's all the time not including the extra stretching ability. I would have sent them back be but was excited and before I realized that they weren't going to fit I already took the tags off so I didn't wasn't able to return them so this is my second try on ordering hopefully they work out better with the fit. Will give update on my next order on sizing.

Location: AZThese pants are great on the range with the extra stretch areas. Great for kneeling, and running when duty calls. These to me are a cross between the ascent pants, and the original tactical pants. Both were great, but the things I liked about the ascent, and the tactical, they put in these, combining them making my favorite pair. The things I liked about the Original Tactical pair 1. Magazine dividers 2. pocket on outside of larger thigh pocket 3. More durable seams Ascent perks 1. Lightweight 2. Drop in pocket for additional magazine or phone The Pro Flex has all of that. Would completely recommend!!!

Location: TXI recently purchased a pair of the men's proflex pants. I have been wearing truspec pants for year now and these are by far the BEST I've ever worn. The pocket layout (I feel a mix between the 24/7 expedition and classic pants) is absolutely perfect. While I bought a pair of coyote brown I, going forward, will be buying these for my uniform pants (my dept. supplies us with 5.11). Thank you producing such great products.

Location: GAIf you're gonna be doing a bunch of bending, squating, or things that require knee articulation, these are the pants for you. I wore their regular tactical pants for the vast majority of my training in trooper school and found them to be unforgiving if you have any amount of size to your thighs (as you should, because never skip leg day). These Pro-flex series are the most comfortable and durable pair of pants I have worn to date, and my only issue is that the color wears out pretty fast with regular use, and the inside pants button on both sets I bought has already been lost in the wash. Other than those minor gripes, I will be buying more of these again in the future!

Location: WAThese pants are great. They have all the versatility of the original 24/7 pants with the added bonus of a pocket that will actually hold a smartphone. They are a little snug around the thighs and the stretch panel around the hips takes some getting used to (I can't put my wallet in the back pocket because the stretch panel makes it sit too low and it becomes painful) but overall I am really thrilled with them.

They are stylish enough to wear to the office and rugged enough to wear hiking, which is what I got them for. Their quality is top-notch.

Location: NYGreat pants. I wear 34/32 and they fit great. I will be ordering a few more pairs. I wear them daily. The only complaint I have is the back pocket is deep and narrow at the zipper. It makes it difficult to get my wallet out. I do like that it has a zipper. My other pair has Velcro and I’ve had my wallet drop out while sitting in a chair.

Location: NYPOSITIVES: Shipped quickly. Workmanship was top notch, as were the materials. Design was improved over the normal 24-7 pants I buy (Item 1072). I especially liked the larger knife pocket and stretch material placed in key locations. I thought the stretch stuff might be kinda "gimmicky", but those areas really do stretch commensurately with your movement. I think this feature could add not only to better comfort, but also to longer product life. I have torn the crotch out of a 24-7 pant when greatly stressed. NEGATIVES: Fit. I'm a pretty average build: 5-10, 185, 34" waist--though I order my Tru-Spec pants as a 36" because I sometimes wear an IWB holster. The PRO FLEX (Item 1485006) pant was cut much differently than my 24-7s. They were tight in the butt (and I have no butt), and also tight in the crotch. I made measurements and found substantial differences in some key measurements between the two types, mostly focused in the trunk area. And the PRO FLEX was "snugger" Overall--not just in the trunk. I really wanted to like these pants, and I feel bad writing a negative review because I've really liked all my Tru-Spec purchases. But these pants were uncomfortable. The more "relaxed" fit of the 24-7s will have to suffice for me. If it fit me better, it would get 5 stars.

Location: CAPants are great. I did go a little large on the sizing and should have just ordered 34s rather than 36s. Plenty of room with the streching waste band. Wore them out to the desert this weekend (off-roading) and they held up great. Seem tough and were completely comfortable. Lots of pocket space. Kept my wallet in the front pocket secure as they have really strong velcro. able to slip phy phone on the side pocket as well as a tactical flashlight on the other side. Looking to buy another pair in a different color.

Location: TXThese pants are amazing. They have stretch at several nice points and seem very durable. They are in some ways very lightweight (not hot) but are protective and ok in a bit of cool/ windy weather. It is hard to describe and I imagine it could have been done rather badly, but it works. The pocket layout is why I like these. Everything is fantastic with them. The only thing is they feel a bit constrictive laterally at times, but that's because I haven't met a cheeseburger I could turn down.

Location: NJI always liked the ascent pants but for me I needed more pockets and these provided that, however I wish that they kept the design of the cargo pocket from the ascent with the new interior organization of the pro flex along with the ascent flap and the ability to expand in the middle of the pocket too because I found it a little too cramped for what I carry in there and it doesn't close securely most times and pops open vs the ascent where i can put everything in there loose but fits perfectly fine for what I put in there so that's my only complaint, the added panels that give the stretch are really great especially the guesseted crouch which does a pretty good job of keeping me cool down there. Another thing too I wish Tru Spec would add a dedicated pen/marker pocket attached to the knife pocket because I use both knife pockets for a knife and multitool and an I keep extra knife in the regular front pocket.

The soft flex panels are in the perfect spots, so the pants move with you and don't tear at the crotch or knees. They're also cut a little less full than the 24/7 for a more traditional look.

Location: SCThe Pro Flex pants are the most comfortable pants I have ever had. As much moving around and bending I do everyday these pants are very forgiving with the 4 soft flex panels on the hips and above the knees. I really like the deep front pockets so stuff won’t fall out. I also carry a lot of extra items around when I’m out at the range and Pro Flex pants have a lot of useful pockets for my cell phone and extra mags. I highly recommend these pants for anyone wanting comfort and extra storage pockets.
