Concealed carry methods are all a very “personal preference” matter. What works for one may not work or be the best choice for another...and effectively training with that carry choice is yet another important matter. With that out of the way, over the past four decades I have tried numerous options and have boxes and drawers full of various holster configurations...some I still enjoy utilizing. But only the dependable, comfortable and “fast” choices see consistent use. Enter Tru-Spec Concealed Holster Shirt. Residing in a tropical climate location, I tend to wear lightweight shirts and shorts everyday, all day. So I’ve come to rely on Tru-Spec’s excellent offering. I’ve read numerous negative reviews about these types of undershirt holsters to know, it’s best if you can try one on first. But not having that option available, I ordered down a size to ensure a tight fit (think compression style fit) to prevent your handgun/magazine falling out of the reinforced holster pocket. Some folk may not enjoy that tight of a fit, but that’s where the greatest retention is. Access is quick and intuitive. Holster pockets are adequately deep for even a full size choice. I purchased a Large concealed carry shirt and wear under a snap button-up X-Large shirt, also purchased at Truspec. Love the combo. The pocket holds my full size S&W .40 with no issues and conceals my carry better than in an IWB holster. More comfortable while driving/sitting than a hip holster. The material is thick and stretchy and works well for cooler temperatures. It's a little warm in hottest summer weather. That's when I revert to my Truspec Tactical shorts.Posted: May 28, 2020

Absolutely love these shirts. I wear these shirts a size smaller - I’m normally an XL- hence get a L. I’ve never had a problem with my sig p938 or FN-9 ever . falling out-ever, and I wear one 3-5 times a week under usually a button down shirt. Also great for church security. I have used this shirt daily for the past year and a half with no problems. It is very comfortable even in multiple layers of clothing during California summer heat. When wearing an over shirt and business jacket even a full size Colt 1911 is easy to conceal. The only downside is that if you bend over to pick up objects the gun will fall out, however this has been easy to adjust to by clamping an arm against the gun when bending.Posted: July 19, 2018

I can only provide two stars because the first time I put the Glock 380 caliber inside I was disappointed when I bent over to tie my shoes and the gun fell out. This is one of the best ways to carry your concealed. I have never had an issue with anything falling out. My G26 and spare 15 round mag stay completely secure. I also like this because I have tried other inside the waistband holsters, and they never fit good, and it is always uncomfortable to get in your truck seat with your gun in its waist holster. With this shirt it fits nicely under the arm. The one problem I find is that it tends to soak up my deodorant, so by midday my pits are dry and starting to get chaffedPosted: July 13, 2016
