These are the most comfortable shorts that I own. I bought them because I had previously bought a pair of Tru-Spec shorts and needed another pair. I do not remember which model my first pair was but I love them. These are even better. So comfortable and all the right pockets in the right places. Easily the most durable pair of shorts I've ever worn. I carry a gun in my pocket with sandpaper grips that have worn through all other shorts within a week. I've worn these shorts for days on end, mostly because everything else is full of holes. My fiance absolutely loves these shorts! He is very picky and hard to please when it comes to his clothing but he was 110% pleased with these shorts. Tons of well placed pockets, the comfort sliders are amazing, the fabric is high quality and the stretch is just right. They survived Labor day with 6 kids and not one snag or stain! I received my Tru-Spec Ascent shorts a few days ago. Got a chance to wear them at a 3-gun match and they were great. It was hot out and they didn't add to the heat. They kept me dry and cooler. I love the Ascent pocket as well. My magazine fit in there and never come out unless I grab them. Awesome shorts.
