I’m a Park Ranger (amab) who found these to be much more comfortable than the men’s version. The waist is cut more like a traditional pair of pants while being just as rugged and supportive. I especially like the pocket behind the cargo pocket which is perfect for tucking a beanie into. My one gripe is that the leg flares out a bit too much for my liking, and I would appreciate if there were a built in way to cinch the ankle down to aid tucking into a shorter boot. LOVE LOVE LOVE these pants!! I previously had the Ascent shorts and needed some comfortable and functional work pants for Afghanistan. Fabric is durable but not heavy feeling. While I like the style of these pants, I am very disappointed in the size difference between the women’s size 12 and size 10. I originally ordered the size 12s and they were about a whole size too big. I returned them for size 10 and the size 10s were too tight. It’s as if there is a 2-3 size difference between them. These are my favorite shooting pants by far, and I've tried most of the popular brands! The lightweight fabric keeps me warm in cool weather and cool in warm weather. They sit lower on my waist with just the right amount of stretch and snugness through the hips. The pant legs are loose and allow me to get into all shooting positions without feeling like I'm either going to explode or my pants will. I have total freedom of movement with these beauties, and they are pretty flattering as well. One of my favorite features are the pmag and pistol magazine stow pockets!! These pants are fantastic! Durable and comfortable, and they stretch in all the right places. I love the DropN pocket for easy access to my phone for when I need it quickly when my holster and mags are covering up my front pockets. Fit true to size. I'm 6' and wear a size 6. The unhemmed pants let me decide how long I want my pants to be and that's hard to find when you're tall.
